Wicklow Arts Fesitival 2015

The Maguire Band will be playing on the Festival Stage at the historic Abbey Grounds in Wicklow Town as part of The Wicklow Arts Festival on Sunday 24 May 2015 at 4pm – keep an eye on their website (http://wicklowartsfestival.ie/), Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/wicklow.artsfestival) and Twitter account (https://twitter.com/WicklowArtsFest – @WicklowArtsFest) for festival announcements. We’re delighted to be part of this wonderful festival which has grown over the last number of years to be one of the country’s top summer festivals. It’s a weekend filled with family and community events and entertainment, mostly free, and it’s all down to the hard work of Geoff and Eliza Kane and their merry band of volunteers. It will be nice to add a touch of trad to the 2015 festival, but it won’t be the first time the festival featured trad – in 2012 one of the highlights was a concert by Frankie Gavin and De Dannan, supported by Perfect Friction. So no pressure then! 🙂
